Motoman Acquires Robot/Motion-Control Software Company
The Motoman Robotics Division of Yaskawa America, Inc., Dayton, OH, has acquired Agile Planet, Inc., provider of intelligent robotics motion-control software and hardware. Agile Planet’s prod- ucts are used in Motoman’s MLX Robot Gateway platform and in its controllers capable of teachless programming.

Metalworking-lubricant developer Irmco Advanced Lubricant Technologies, Evanston, IL, has added Man- ufacturing Technology LLC, Pelham, AL, as sales repre- sentatives in Alabama, Geor- gia and Mississippi.
