Contour Preci- sion Group includes Huff- man, a manufacturer of equipment for abrasive- waterjet cutting, super-abra- sive grinding and additive laser processing.

Trumpf Names Caribbean Sales Agent
Metalformers in the Caribbean now can purchase Trumpf equipment from Materials Integrity Testing,
Inc. (MIT), Gurabo, Puerto Rico. The family- and veteran- owned company will sell Trumpf press brakes, laser- cutting machines, and punch- ing and combination machines throughout Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica and the U.S. and British Virgin Islands.
Metal Service Center to Distribute Waterjet- Cutting Machines
in New England
Aquajet Cutting Technolo- gy, Bloomfield, CT, a division of Aerospace Alloys Inc., now will distribute 2D and 3D waterjet-cutting machines from Techni Water- jet, Lenexa, KS, throughout New England. Aquajet per- forms waterjet cutting, milling, turning, band-saw cutting and shearing. The
firm recently opened up two showrooms—one in the UK and another in Connecticut that houses a Techni Water- jet model Techjet 5- by 10-ft. cutting system equipped with a five-axis cutting head and a Quantum NXT electric- servo pump 55s.
MSC Acquires Barnes, Gains Access to Canadian Market
MSC Industrial Supply Co., Melville, NY, a distributor of metalworking and MRO (maintenance, repair and operations) supplies, acquired Barnes Distribution North America, Cleveland, OH. Barnes distributes fas- teners and other consum- ables via three distribution centers in Canada (Ontario, Alberta and New Brunswick), and seven U.S. facilities.
Michigan Tool Shop Supports Chinese Dual-Clutch Transmission Project
With the help of sales and marketing company Resham- ca, Commerce, MI, O. Keller Tool Engineering Co., Livonia, MI, landed a contract to pro- vide an assembly fixture and tooling for a new GM dual- clutch transmission program underway at Shanghai Gear, Chongqing, China. O. Keller provided 40 tools to the com- pany within a 7-month win- dow to support project kick- off in February-March 2013. Reshamca coordinates cus- tomer and supplier relation- ships for castings and stamped mechanical and electromechanical assem- blies in China, India and Eastern Europe.
