Wilson Tool Intl., White Bear Lake, MN, appointed Chris Lawless president and Paul Johnson president of new busi- ness development. Lawless, previously vice president of operations for the firm’s punching division, will oversee operations in North and South America. Johnson, previously vice president of operations for Wilson Tool’s press brake and stamping divisions, will lead the company’s foray into new business opportunities.
Richard Sade, vice president and COO of S&S Hinge, a PMA member com- pany located in Bloomingdale, IL, has been elected to the Manufacturing Lead- ership Council’s board of directors. The council’s mission is “to help senior exec- utives define and shape a better future for themselves, their organizations and the industry at large.” It produces a vari- ety of leadership networking, information and professional-development products.
Precision sheetmetal fabricator and
stamper Laystrom Manufacturing Co., Chicago, IL, hired Eric Hauser as manu- facturing manager. He’ll oversee the firm’s manufacturing and operations support departments, and lead its con- tinuous quality- and process-improve- ment activities.
Bunting Magnetics Co., Newton, KS, expanded its North American salesforce by appointing Jason Cohen to cover Texas and Oklahoma; Darrick Litten to cover Ohio, West Virginia and Western New York; and Dan Murphy to cover Illi- nois and Wisconsin. The firm also added two new manufacturer’s representatives: Pat Perkins, in Southern California; and John Weber, in Arizona and New Mexico. Robert Bunting, Jr. was named busi- ness strategist—metal detection. Sonia Cox was named director of marketing. The firm manufactures magnetic prod- ucts for a variety of industries.
