FTI, Missler Partner to Improve Blank-Shape Development Software
Forming Technologies Inc., Burlington, Ontario, Canada, will provide its blank- shape-development technology to French software provider Missler Software (www.topsolid.com). As a result, users of Missler’s TopSolid’Progress blank-shape- development software will enjoy improved blank-shape accuracy, thanks to use of FTI’s Coupled Hybrid Inverse solver. The solver, say company officials, optimizes simu- lation of shift in the neutral axis and more accurately represents real-world forming conditions in local flanging operation.
