Heads to Hotlanta
More than 20,000 manufacturing professionals will flock to the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA, November 2-4, for FABTECH, North America’s largest metalforming, fabricating, welding and finishing event, including the PMA METALFORM technology area and the AWS Welding Show.
Yes, the Atlanta Hawks and the Atlanta Thrashers, the city’s professional bas- ketball and hockey franchises, will be in town November 2-4, but the FABTECH International metalforming and fabricating exhibition and educa- tional conference promises to steal some of their thunder when it lands in the heart of downtown Atlanta at the Geor- gia World Congress Center. The 3.9 mil- lion-sq.-ft. convention center, which has 12 exhibit halls as well as 106 meeting rooms, and ranks among the top five largest convention destinations in the country, will play host to a bevy of new metalforming, fabricating, stamping, welding, finishing and tube and pipe technology. More than 1000 exhibitors and 22,000 attendees are expected to enliven the facility with demonstrations and product displays.
