Indiana Tool and Die Maker Growing by Leaps and Bounds
C&A Tool Engineering, Inc., Churubusco, IN, has acquired the former Dana engine-parts facility in Churubusco, to accom- modate future company growth. The company, which operates a 200,000-sq.-ft. headquarters and production machining facil- ity as well as a newly acquired 105,000-sq.-ft. facility in near- by Auburn, IN, employs 530, and manufactures molds and dies, specialty tooling and tightly toleranced precision machined parts from prototype runs to production runs.

Metric Two-Post Direct Lifters
Dadco, Plymouth, MI, has introduced two-post direct lifters as part of its line of metric air cylinders. TDL2 and TDL4 lifters
feature the company’s HP series of metric air cylinders that include adjustable cushion control, built-in lubrication system and position-sensing capability. The new lifters feature linear bearings to deliver smooth, consistent lifting action in a vari- ety of applications, according to company officials.
