Space-Saving Flat Reflective Sensor
June 1, 2009Comments
The RLF24 reflective sensor from STM Sensors Inc., Toledo, OH, features flat construction and a thickness of only 1.7 mm, ideal for installation in end effectors or flat machine parts. The sensor features a stainless-steel housing that allows application in harsh environments as well as a flexible sensor cable that resists extreme flexural loads. With a weight of only 3 g, the sensor promises low G forces even at high accelerations. Vacuum-rated versions are available.
