Domenico Iacovelli Leaves Andritz and Schuler

The Andritz Supervisory Board and Schuler CEO Domenico Iacovelli have mutually agreed upon amicable terms on his departure as of December 31, 2023. Within the Andritz Group, company president and CEO of Dr. Joachim Schönbeck will be responsible for the Metals business area, to which Schuler belongs, as of January 1, 2024.
Iacovelli had led Schuler since 2018. “We sincerely thank Domenico Iacovelli for his commitment and outstanding achievements, especially in the successful restructuring of the Schuler Group, the strategic development of battery technology for the electric vehicle industry and Andritz's entry into the green hydrogen market,” Schönbeck says.
