Tooling Tech Group's Expansion Accommodates 2750-ton Press

Tooling Tech Group, Macomb, MI, has announced a 70,000-sq.-ft. expansion of its progressive-die and stamping facility to accommodate the installation of a 2750-ton Eagle press, while providing additional space for its die-assembly operations. The new equipment will expand Majestic’s capabilities into the transfer-die business by providing die design, construction, try-out and production of larger components with more complex features.
The company also is investing in ancillary press equipment, including a straightener-feeder, 50,000-lb.-capacity coil mandrel for running progressive dies and a transfer system for running transfer tooling.
This will be the seventh stamping press in the facility. The press is expected to be operational this fall.
