United Performance Metals Achieves Pratt & Whitney-LCS Approval

United Performance Metals (UPM), a Hamilton, OH-based global distributor of high-temperature materials for aerospace applications, has achieved Pratt & Whitney-LCS (Laboratory Controlled at Source) approval from Pratt & Whitney Group, East Hartford, CT. This approval allows UPM’s Greenville, SC, service center to begin providing LCS certified materials in both sheet and bar forms to its Southeastern U.S. customer base. Pratt & Whitney is an East Hartford, CT-based provider of engines and propulsion systems.
