Additive Industries Expands Into Asia With Intech Order

Earlier this month at formnext in Frankfurt, Intech, a Bangalore, India-based metal additive manufacturing company, confirmed its first order of the MetalFAB1 system by Additive Industries, Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
“Accelerating adoption of additive manufacturing is the primary objective at Intech,” says CEO Sridhar Balaram. “Moving from prototyping to series production with a focus on cost per part with repeatable quality is the way forward.”
“We are excited to expand our installed base to India with such an experienced partner,” adds Additive Industries CEO Ilko Bosman. “The Indian market offers a great potential for our technology because of the well developed markets of aerospace, automotive and medical implants.”
