Resurgent Formnext 2022 in the Books
November 21, 2022Comments
Formnext 2022 experienced quite a rebound from the pandemic, having closed on November 18 with solid attendee and exhibitor numbers. The four-day show—the world’s largest additive manufacturing (AM) event—boasted 29,581 attendees (65 percent more than 2021) and 802 exhibitors in 550,000-plus sq. ft. of space, significantly ahead of Formnext 2021, which resumed after cancellation of the 2020 live show. These numbers put the event on par with pre-pandemic Formnexts, according to organizer Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH.
“We are proud of the fact that Formnext has returned to its impressive pre-Covid level,” says Sascha F. Wenzler, vice president-Formnext at Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH. “We have once again demonstrated the importance of Formnext as the world’s premiere AM platform and the vital role of face-to-face interaction at Formnext for the further development of this highly innovative sector.”
Details on the technology displayed at Formnext can be found in the Fall 2022 issue of 3D Metal Printing and all throughout 3dmpmag.com.
