M.A. Metal, a Chicago-based metalforming company serving various industries, has installed a new eX-CFR 4500-W resonator CO2 Mitsubishi laser machine in its Indiana facility. The new machine will allow M.A. Metal to cut thicker material and increase cutting speeds. The laser’s 4500-W resonator is said to deliver a unique pulse for a sharper beam, cleaner parts and 90-percent lower gas consumption. CO2 lasers provide advanced programming and high-speed cutting for maximum productivity.
“We are excited to have this new Mitsubishi laser in our facility,” says Ronnie Burton, sales manager, M.A. Metal. “The increased power and new features of the eX-CFR laser will help increase our capabilities and open up opportunities for more capacity; these are both essential components for our company growth.”
