Four on the Floor—Komatsu America at FABTECH 2025
October 20, 2025Comments During FABTECH in Chicago, MetalForming editorial director Brad Kuvin paid a visit to the Komatsu booth to learn about its new technology on display. As explained by Komatsu product manager John Walas, the booth highlighted the FABTECH of the Future of Manufacturing, with two demonstrations: using a stamping press to form a spline shaft, instead of what would typically be done on a lathe; and using two cobots to automate the movement of material in and out of a stamping press.
