ACIES 2515 AJ — A Highly-Automated Punch/Fiber Laser Combination System: The ACIES AJ achieves unmatched productiv- ity and scratch-free processing of complex sheet metal parts including forming and tapping. Equipped with a 4kW fiber laser, the ACIES AJ has expanded Vernier’s range of capabilities to include the efficient cutting of brass, copper and Muntz metal. By automating tool changes and material handling, ACIES achieves continuous, high-speed processing — increasing Vernier’s green-light-on time from 30% to 80%.
HG 1003 ATC Integrated Bending System: AMADA’s patented Automatic Tool Changer (ATC) enables Vernier to achieve 20 setups
per shift instead of 4-5 per day — greatly increasing throughput. Even complex tool setups are completed in less than three minutes. The ATC’s large tool capacity allows for quick and easy introduction of rush jobs while expediting setup for repeat jobs.
To summarize the power of partnership, Ed Zerjav adds the following thoughts, “In combination with outstanding machine reliability, AMADA has al- ways been responsive to any service issues. This makes for a great partnership which is mutually beneficial for AMADA and VMF — as well as our customers.”
