The American Society of Safety Pro- fessionals (ASSP), Park Ridge, IL, has named Jennifer McNelly as its eighth executive director since ASSP’s founding in 1911. She brings 30 years of associa- tion, government, regulatory and busi- ness experience, having most recently served as president of 180 Skills LLC, an online career and technical educa- tion company aimed at closing the man- ufacturing skills gap and transforming organizational and individual perform- ance. Prior to that, McNelly served as president of The Manufacturing Insti- tute, the nonprofit affiliate of the Nation- al Association of Manufacturers.
