Industrial Innovations Named Fanuc Robotics Integrator

LaserNett, a Mississauga, Ontario, Canada-based metal-fabrication company, has expanded its inhouse capabilities with the addition of a TL3030 fiber-laser cutting machine from Trumpf, Farmington, CT.

Bodycote Contracts with Rolls-Royce
Beckwood Corp., a St. Louis, MO- based manufacturer of custom hydraulic
announced a 70,000-sq.-ft. expansion of its progressive-die and stamping facility to accommodate the installation of a 2750- ton Eagle press, while providing additional space for its die-assembly operations. The new equipment will expand Majestic’s capabilities into the transfer-die business by providing die design, construction, try- out and production of larger components with more complex features.
Bodycote, a U.K.-based provider of heattreatment and thermal processing, has signed a 15-year contract, worth more than $227 million in incremental revenues, with Rolls-Royce’s Civil Aerospace business. Bodycote will provide vacuum heattreatment and hot isostatic pressing, supporting Rolls-Royce’s turbine-blade casting facilities in Derby and Rotherham, United Kingdom. The agreement ensures the provision of thermal processing to support the growth of Rolls-Royce’s large civilian engine programs.
