Destaco, Auburn Hills, MI, has expanded its gripping offerings for machine OEMs with the introduction of T110 linear pneumatic table slides, which complement the company’s G110 grippers. Together, they are ideal for high-speed machine part-

The T110 table slides have an indus- try-standard footprint, allowing for drop-in replacement of competing prod- ucts. Other fea- tures include 44 model con- figurations for machine-tending applications; stroke options ranging from 10 to 150 mm; smooth operation via a cross-rollerbearing system; and shock absorbers or rubber stops for fine end-of-

RK Trading USA, a supplier of spring formers, coilers, reels and grinders, has debuted the CSX-20-series wire former with AT attachment arm. The 16-axis servo machine features a 3D rotating tooling attachment in front of the wire line, removable optional attachments, and a portable bolt-on forming station, in addition to standard CSX-series features. Users can manufacture parts in small or large quantities, and even prototypes, using the same machine, with the same programming.
Automotive supplier SET Enterprises has ordered a 12-kW three-laser-head Schuler blanking line for its Chicago, IL, production facility. This represents the debut of this particular high-output technology in North America, according to Schuler officials.
SET Enterprises, headquartered in Sterling Heights, MI, supplies blanks and slit multiples to automotive OEMs, Tier-One stampers and sheet mills. The company will use the laser-blanking line to produce blanks for exposed and unexposed automotive stampings. SET Enterprises reportedly chose the Schuler line for its high-output capability and flexibility made possible through Schuler’s DynamicFlow technology. This technology offers three laser heads with the ability to simultaneously cut blank shapes of all types with straight-line cutting speeds exceeding 100 m/min. The blanks are cut from a coil-fed, continuously forward-moving strip of coiled metal, itself traveling at speeds to 60 m/min. This high-output feeding and cutting capability makes conventional blanking dies unnecessary, according to Schuler officials, and, as a
