to Develop Die-Setter Training

As PMA prepares online training programs for Basic and Advanced Die Setter Training, subject-matter experts from manufacturing and associate member companies are needed to review training outlines, help write and edit content, review final scripts, and develop and review graphics and animation. Work will be conducted via e-mail, conference calls or Webex meetings. Scheduled for April 25-26 in Detroit, MI, PMA’s 25th annual Automotive Parts Suppliers Conference (APSC) will feature expert speakers, access to unique industry information and valuable networking opportunities. Presentations will address how to develop a systematic approach to automotive design; lightweighting and its impact on steel, aluminum and molding; decreasing costs and increasing efficiency to meet market and consumer demands; 3D metal printing; and legal and regulatory issues. APSC concludes with a presentation by Lawrence H. Burns, Ph.D, former vice president of research and development and strategic planning at General Motors.
