Quotation Development Supervisor

Description: Works with the sales engineering manager and quoting engineer to calculate and provide pricing analysis related to new projects. Leads pricing efforts and supervises the development of quotation presentations for customers.
Responsibilities:
• Reviews customer quotation requests for manufacturing feasibility and thoroughness.
• Supports in determining the blank sizes, strip layouts, manufacturing process, tonnage
requirements, proper press size or equipment, and productivity output.
• Reviews requests and/or pursues quotations from suppliers in compliance with company pur-
chasing procedure for costs of raw material, secondary finishing requirements, purchased
components, and tooling.
• Reviews the formal quotations with customers, including their specific cost break down
forms, with notations of any specific requirements, suggestions, or exceptions.
• Reviews engineering changes submitted or requested by the customer to determine if there
will be any cost or process impact.
Education and Experience:
• 10+ years’ experience within a metal stamping environment with strong skills in the various
tooling and processes within this industry, coupled with an engineering degree.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCad, and SolidWorks.
• Bilingual/Spanish language a plus. • Current and valid passport is required.
