Live Welding Demonstrations Place Visitors Under the Hood Miller Electric Mfg. Co.
Booths N3329, N3733
Miller Electric
will showcase its
latest welding
and safety equip-
ment, including
new power
sources and weld-
ing-automation solutions. It also
will host live welding demon-
strations, providing visitors with hand-
on experience with the equipment. These demonstrations will be paired with solutions from Miller-recommended partners—Hobart filler metals, Bernard semi-automatic welding guns and Tregaskiss robotic guns.
Among the many new-product innovations on display will be the ArcReach Stick/TIG Remote (shown), designed for use with Miller’s compatible XMT 350 CC/CV, XMT 450 CC/CV and Dimension 650. The remote allows welding oper- ators to change weld settings at the weld joint, which reduces downtime and improves safety—no more unnecessary trips to the power source. The remote also eliminates the need to settle for less-than-optimal welding parameters to improve weld quality, and it allows for more arc-on time to increase productivity.

Fully Operational Feed Line Ready to Roll
Dallas Industries Booth C17028
Dallas Industries will present a complete press-feed line at FABTECH 2016, delivering material across the aisle directly
into an Aida 330-ton servo press. The line will showcase state- of-the-art reel, straightener and feed technology ideally suited to servo-press applications. The Allen-Bradley Ethernet-based controls architecture supports many advanced features, includ- ing Dallas’ unique ProfileSelect software. ProfileSelect uses a sinusoidal profile (cam motion) to provide smooth motion and material feed, utilizing 100 percent of the press-feed win- dow while minimizing stress on the material and mechanics. Also featured: SyncLoop advanced loop-control integration. www.dallasindustries.com
