MW Industries, Rosemont, IL, a manufacturer of springs, fasteners, machined parts and other precision components, has acquired Maudlin & Son Manufacturing, Kemah, TX. Maudlin manufactures slotted shims, coil and flat shim stock and similar products, and operates a custom metalform- ing job shop with wire-EDM, waterjet- and laser-cutting and stamping capabilities.
Metal stamper and fabri- cator Walker Corp., Ontario, CA, has announced plans to open a new facility in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago during the second quarter of 2015. The facility will house two new stamping presses (330 and 550 ton), a full com- plement of smaller presses and will provide rollforming, fabricating, welding and assembly services.
