The partners will start by incorporating AM technology with the machine base of Cincinnati’s laser-cutting system, creating a prototype, large-scale AM system. The research team will then integrate a high- speed cutting tool, pellet-feed mecha- nism and control software into the gantry system to offer additional capabilities.
Pneumatic Die Lifters for T-Slots

Using shop air eliminates the need for
hydraulics and the associated com- plexities of adding hydraulic systems to the press. Actuate the lifters using either simple hand-operated air valves or electronically operated valves integrated with other press controls.
