Bettcher Manufacturing, LLC is a corporation that has its manufacturing operation in Reynosa, Mexico and its corporate office in McAllen, Texas. Bettcher started producing quality stampings in 1894. Now, more than a 100 years later we are still in the business of producing quality stampings. Our equipment is new and modern and capable of producing the precision products that are required and expected by our customers. We are an engineering focused company, offering our expertise while product is “still on the drawing board,”and are dedicated to cost-reduction efforts through design improvements. We offer a competitive salary and a full benefits package. Bettcher is currently looking for qualified candidates to fill the positions below:
Tool & Die Makers (full & part-time)
• Must have experience working with deep draw, forming, compound and progressive tools. • Engineering background with at least 5 years of tool and die experience.
• Ability to read CAD drawings.
Tooling/Project Engineer
• 3-5 years experience in the metal stamping industry in a similar position.
• Person must have good working knowledge of CAD, PRO –E, SolidWorks or other design software.
• Person should be a journeyman tool and die maker or have worked in the field for at least 10 years.
• Assist tool maintenance department in reverse engineering of die components and placing
orders with tool shops.
• Track customer engineering changes.
• Engineering degree a plus.
Cost Estimator
• Experience within a metal stamping environment with strong skills in the various tooling and processes within this industry, coupled with formal education.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCad, and SolidWorks.
• Ability to technically communicate both verbally and written in English and Spanish, a plus.
• Organizational skills, priority setting and the management of multiple priorities, goal planning and
follow through required.
