Tool Design Engineer
PMF Industries, Inc., a contract fabrication job shop specializing in stainless steel and nickel based alloys used in aerospace, medical, pharmaceutical, food processing and the military, is seeking a high- ly motivated individual to join its engineering team. Responsibilities include designing of tooling/ fixturing for press forming, machining and welding process. Strong knowledge of manufacturing analysis programs, such as Deform, is preferred. The successful candidate must work closely with production and quality assurance, become involved in all engineering and technical-related activities of the company, and be able to manage several proj- ects simultaneously with minimal supervision. A qualified individual must have prior experience working with geometric tolerancing, Cadkey, Solidworks, Excel, MS Outlook, and Word. This position requires a person with excellent oral com- munication skills as well as the willingness to work in a team environment. A degree in engineering (bachelor or associate) with a minimum of three years experience in metal forming, or related industry, is required.
