Long-Stanton Inks Lucrative Asian Manufacturing/ Distribution Deal
Metal stamper and sheetmetal fabricator Long- Stanton Manufacturing Co., Inc., West Chester, OH, and its sister company Long- Stanton & Lee, an integrat- ed global manufacturing company with five plants in China and two in the United States, will manufacture, sell and distribute specialty truck equipment in China.
Its recently announced deal is expected to generate $10 million in revenue over a 3-yr. period, with project- ed annual market growth of 20 percent for the next three to five years.
P&G Steel Products Adds Plastic Injection Molding to its Resume
Family-owned metal- forming company P&G Steel Products, Buffalo, NY, has installed four Cincinnati Milacron presses, from 110 to 1000 tons, to add plastic injection molding to its list of manufacturing capabili- ties. Its 1000-ton press can handle shot sizes to 165 oz. The firm operates more than
25 metal-stamping presses, robotic-welding cells and CNC machining centers.
Seilkop Industries Acquires Armor Metal’s Burn and Grind Shop
Armor Metal Group, Mason, OH, has sold one of its plants to Seilkop Indus- tries, Inc., Cincinnati, OH. The 40,000-sq.-ft. facility offers job-shop burning and grinding services, and com- plements Seilkop’s four other businesses: A-G Tool and Die, L & H Tool and Die, Hitech Shapes and Designs, and Epcor Foundries.
Canadian Metalformer to Open U.S. Plant
Commercial Spring and Tool Co. Ltd., Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, will expand its operations into the United States by open- ing a manufacturing plant in LaFayette, AL.
The firm manufactures springs, wire forms, and clips and also offers heat treating, plating and other services. It plans to hire 75 employees at its new U.S. facility within three years.
