Upcoming Live Event and Virtual: Die Protection Clinic
Spotlight on
March 23, PMA Headquarters, Inde- pendence, OH
Make die crashes a thing of the past, as this full-day event is the industry’s pre- mier source for die protection and in-die- sensing information and training.
Jim Finnerty, product manager of Wintriss Controls Group LLC and long-time presenter at industry and PMA conferences and sem- inars, taps into his 40-plus yr. at Wintriss to enable attendees to get the most out of their die-protection systems. This seminar, sponsored by Principal, details the proper use of various control functions and iden-
tifies the five most important factors to consider when selecting a system.
From basic probes to state-of-the-art electronic sensors, attendees will be shown how to select and properly apply the right sensor for any application. Attendees also will learn the advantages and limitations of each sensor type, as well as tips and tricks on selection installation and wiring.
Finnerty will provide specific instructions on how to select a sensor that will last in a stamping die. This seminar provides an overview of the testing process to ensure that each application is robust enough
for a production environment. Also dis- cussed: wiring guidelines, along with rec- ommended sensor connection hardware.
The price to attend the Die Protection Clinic—in-person or virtually—is $349 for PMA members; $549 for nonmembers, with breakfast and lunch included for in- person attendees. And, in-person attendees receive discounted room rates at the Hol- iday Inn Cleveland South.
