ECI Software Solutions Announces Strategic Alliance with Paperless Parts
The recently announced integration of ECI’s cloud-based man- ufacturing business-management solutions and Paperless Parts’ estimating and quoting platform promises to further streamline operations for job shops and contract manufacturers. Through this alliance, the two companies will offer customers seamless integration between ECI’s ERP solution and Paperless Parts’ quoting platform, helping customers reduce manual data entry in multiple systems and turn around accurate quotes quickly and efficiently. Immediately available under the terms of the partner- ship is support for the JobBoss/Paperless Parts integration. A supported integration between Paperless Parts and JobBoss, both cloud and on-premise, is scheduled to be available before the end of the year, with other ERP products to follow.
By integrating Paperless Parts, a secure, ITAR-registered cloud-native software platform, into a full suite of functionalities, manufacturers will be able to replace hours of manual steps in the estimating and quoting process, say company officials.
Fenn Acquires MacBee Engineering
Fenn, LLC, East Berlin, CT, has acquired the intellectual prop- erty of Engineered Machinery Group Inc., which includes the rights to MacBee Engineering Group, and will continue to build and support its product lines.
“MacBee’s wire- and tube-focused product lines are an excel- lent complement to our existing drawbench, swager and wire- shaping offerings,” says Fenn president Ryan Cutter. “We are proud to enable two great American-made machinery brands to continue to succeed under one roof.”
With more than 50 yr. of experience with wire and tube machinery, Stevens will join Fenn as a consultant to continue sup- porting MacBee product lines.
