When MetalForming last met with Dalsin Industries, in 2017, the Minnesota manu- facturer had been adding enterprise resource planning (ERP) capabilities to handle quotes, orders, production and shipping across two locations 1500 miles apart. While the challenges differ in 2022, Dalsin continues to invest in ERP software, and reap its benefits.
Established in 1945 as Dick Dalsin Sheet Metal Co. and now owned by the sons of founders Richard E. and Eleanor Dalsin, Dalsin Industries main- tains its 135,000-sq.-ft. headquarters and manufacturing facilities in Bloom- ington, MN, where it processes various coiled and sheet materials.
