Pittarc’s Saw welding wires for joining carbon and low allied steel can be used in a broad spectrum of applications such as manufacturing of oil and gas pipes, water pipes, offshore applications, pressure vessels, wind towers, heavy frameworks, etc. Big projects for which they’ve been used include Nexus Gas transmission project, the Gray Oak pipeline, the Tallgrass pipeline and the Sea Coast pipeline. Submerged arc welding wires have low impurity and gas contents, helping achieve joints with excellent mechanical characteristics and strength at low temperatures. The Saw welding wires are manufactured with diameters ranging from 1.2 mm to 5.0 mm and are available in various packaging solutions.
