Dayton Rogers Teams with Tech School to Provide
Onsite Employee Education

Dayton Rogers, Columbia, SC, is collaborating with Midlands Technical College, West Columbia, SC, to provide basic training classes for employees while at work. The program covers four disciplines: shop math (completed in September), blueprint reading, basic geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and basic measuring. Classes run through February. Dayton Rogers employees attend the classes while receiving their normal hourly rate and can look forward to an awards ceremony and a $.50 hourly increase upon successful completion of the coursework. In addition, class credits are transferable into the CNC Operator Certificate program at Midlands Tech.
