O'Neal Merges Affiliates to Form Integrated Metals Company

O’Neal Industries has announced the merger and operations integration of four affiliates, Aerodyne Alloys, Plus Ten Stainless, United Performance Metals and Vulcanium Metals International, to form United Performance Metals (UPM), headquartered in Cincinnati, OH. As a result, UPM’s inventory now includes stainless steel, duplex stainless steel, Prodec, nickel alloys, cobalt alloys, cobalt chrome moly, titanium, aluminum and alloy steel in coil, sheet, strip, plate, bar and near-net shapes. The newly formed company serves a range of customers in industries including aerospace, fastener, medical, power generation, oil and gas, and semi-conductors.

UPM uses proprietary FirstCut+ processing services that include cut-to-length, leveling, slitting, edging, chamfering and facing, shearing, laser cutting, laser gauge measurement, waterjet cutting, plasma cutting, sawing, precision cold-saw cutting, precision blanks, first-stage machining, heattreating, ultrasonic testing, boring, trepanning, and deburring.
