Oberg Awarded Six New Apprenticeship Training Programs

Oberg Industries, Freeport, PA, a supplier of precision stamped and machined components and tooling, has received approval from the state of Pennsylvania to establish six new apprenticeship training programs—two CNC programs in the disciplines of turning, milling and mill/turn, for operators and setup programmers. Oberg’s apprentice programs are competency-based, offered at no cost to students, and combine work-based learning, computer-based training and classroom instruction.
