Neff Press Installs Deep-Draw Filter-Can Line

Baldwin Filters, Kearney, NE, a manufacturer of commercial-truck, off-road and industrial filters, has installed a new deep-draw can-making line from Neff Press, St. Louis, MO.

Baldwin senior manufacturing engineer John Macrander and Neff Press chief engineer Jon Schmidt will provide a technical presentation on the line during the FABTECH 2013 education program, at a Deep Draw Technologies track on Thursday, Nov. 21, from 8 to 10 a.m. The case study will include basic information on deep-draw technology, and explain the line’s high-speed servo-hydraulics, quick die change, automated blank handling, in-die sensing and servo transfers.
