Norfolk Iron and Metal Commissions New CTL Line

Steel-service center Norfolk Iron and Metal has commissioned a new temper mill cut-to-length line at its facility in Norfolk, NE. The line, designed and built by DBI Manufacturing, Irving, TX, processes coils to 96 in. wide of steel to 0.787 in. thick and to 100-KSI yield strength. It includes a four-high temper mill, two levelers, a six-roll brush cleaning system and a rotary shear. Norfolk Iron and Metal operates five plants to serve steel users in 15 states.
