Modular Stock-Lubrication System
March 1, 2008Comments
The MicroCoat MC800 stock-lubrication system from EFD, East Providence, RI, uses low-volume low-pressure technology to evenly coat stock, in widths from less than 1 in. to as wide as 48 in. It applies a fine, consistent film of oil that prevents tool damage while reducing lube consumption by as much as 70 percent, according to company officials. The system features a modular design that allows it to be configured for current job requirements, and easily upgraded to meet future needs. The compact MC800 controller cabinet can accommodate two manifolds, each holding as many as four flow controls.
