Southwest Shape Supplier Adds Laser Cutting to Value-Added Offerings

Industrial Metal Supply Co. (IMS), which operates five large metal-processing centers and warehouses in California and Arizona, has created a new business unit to provide six-axis laser-beam cutting and fabrication services. Acquired by the IMS Laser Services Group: a FabriGear 300 cutting machine from Mazak Optonics Corp., for cutting beams, channel, tube, pipe and other shapes.
