Lincoln Electric Co., Cleveland, OH, will hold a comprehensive seminar on aluminum gas-metal-arc (GMA) and gas-tungsten-arc (GTA) welding October 15-18, at its headquarters. The program is designed for those familiar with welding processes but needing more training in aluminum alloys, welding equipment, processes and techniques. Classroom sessions will include discussion of GMAW and GTAW processes and equipment, aluminum-alloy metallurgy and designation system, AWS D1.2 Code and aluminum design. Hands-on sessions will include opportunities to use a variety of GMAW and GTAW equipment and processes.
