Digital Tool & Die, Grandville, MI, combines experience and technology to create innovative solutions for a range of progressive and transfer dies, and other specialty tooling. The company team is experienced in sales and estimating, CAD, simulation, CNC, metrology, and die build and repair.
The accompanying image, providing a sample of Digital Tool & Die’s capabilities, shows one of several manufacturing bays at the company where diemakers are assembling progressive dies. When finished, these dies will be moved into mechanical presses for tryout. The back of the image shows a large1000-ton tryout press featuring an 84 by 240-in. bed and equipped with a CHS Automation 65-in.-width-capacity coil feed. Along the left of the image on the wall are differently colored progressive-die strips showing the number of stations and what each station represents.
