The Motoman Robotics Division of Yaskawa America, Inc. officially opened its new facility in Miamisburg, OH, last week. The 305,000-sq.-ft. facility combines the firm’s former headquarters operation in West Carrolton, OH, with a new 220,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing plant, demonstration area and warehouse formerly located in Troy, OH. Included are eight training classrooms and a laboratory. In a fitting display of advanced robotic technology, Motoman had a dual-arm robot perform the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
