Lightweight, Wearable Welding Respirator

Fronius USA’s newly certified Vizor Air/3X is a lightweight wearable respirator that delivers a steady stream of clean air to aid in shielding welders from particles and fumes, while enhancing safety and comfort. The NIOSH-certified Vizor Air/3X features a long-lasting lithium-ion battery; smart filter-detection system; three airflow levels: 6.0, 7.4 and 8.5 cu. ft./min.; and ergonomic harness for even weight distribution 

Its built-in fan ensures a constant supply of air and reliable protection while providing a cooling and refreshing effect, and the unit can detect if the particulate filter is missing or clogging. Depending on the helmet, the combined weight of the Vizor Air 3X helmet and fan-filter unit ranges between 3.3 and 3.8 lb.

Welders can choose a complete ready-to-use package that provides everything needed for welding air filtration. Each package includes a Vizor Air/3X unit; belt and harness; carrying bag; extra filter; and choice of helmet: Vizor Crystal, Vizor 4000 Crystal, Vizor 4000 Professional and Vizor Connect. A grind mask can be added as an accessory.
