Taylor-Winfield Acquires George A. Mitchell Assets, Expands Product Line

Taylor-Winfield Technologies, Inc., Youngstown, OH, a provider of custom equipment for material joining (arc, laser and resistance welding), induction heating and automation, has purchased most of the assets of the Boardman, OH-based George A. Mitchell Company, which provides specialized machinery for shaping metal tubes and pipes, including end-forming machines. The acquisition adds a new line of products to Taylor-Winfield Technologies in the tube and pipe industry, according to company officials.
