Red Stag Earns Patent for Cushion-Control Software

Comments Red Stag Engineering & Automation, Inc., Waupaca, WI, received copyright patent registration for software that controls an intelligent hydraulic cushion for mechanical presses. To optimize control of binder pressure, the software allows for programming of stroke and hydraulic force of each cushion cylinder. Each parameter can be changed more than eight times as the press ram cycles from the 3 o’clock to 6 o’clock position at production speeds.
