Compact Power Unit Drives Small-to-Midsized Die-Clamping Setups
May 1, 2014Comments
The Hilma Div. of Carr Lane Roemheld, Fenton, MO, introduces an electrically driven high-pressure hydraulic power unit designed for small and midsized die-clamping and lifting systems. The modular unit, compact and lightweight, comes ready for installation, complete with motor, pump, oil reservoir, valve configuration (as needed), pressure gauge, pressure switches and electrical system.
The power unit, which suits single- and double-acting cylinders, employs zero-leak directional valves that maintain clamping pressure in case of power failure; its highly reliable radial-piston pump ensures long service life. Maximum operating pressure: 5800 psi.
