Designed for portability, Euroboor’s EBM.36+LP/P-18V cordless magnetic drilling machine is compact, lightweight and simple to carry, making it ideal for tight or hard-to-reach workspaces. Its low-profile body, only 6 7/8 in. high, fits comfortably between H-beams and other narrow spaces. The Quick-Switch capstan hub can be mounted on either side for flexible operation, and the extendable handle makes it possible to drill in corners or confined areas with ease. 

The machine runs on a high-capacity rechargeable battery that is compatible with the Makita LXT 18V battery platform, meaning that the same battery can be used across different tools. In a recent test, the EBM.36+LP/P-18V drilled 44 holes in 3/8-in.-thick S235-grade steel using a single 9-amps/hr. battery, maintaining full power throughout. This results in fewer stops, reduced costs and increased productivity.

The powerful permanent magnet ensures a secure hold on the workpiece without drawing energy from the battery, improving both safety and efficiency. To further protect the metalworker, the built-in Gyro-Tec system detects sudden movement and automatically shuts off the motor, reducing the risk of accidents during operation.

The machine features a brushless motor with adjustable speed and precision magnetic base. Maximum cutting diameter: 1 7/16 in.
