Enhanced Die Design Software

Booth D45561
Logopress, part of AutoForm Group, exhibits an enhancement to its SolidWorks-based Logopress3 die design software. This allows a configurable set of components to be inserted into the die assembly with just a few clicks. The insertion includes the automatic creation of the holes in each plate affected. One such set of components is standard lifters pilot assemblies, including the mounting hardware, in three different mounting styles. The part files created are added to the current job folder and to the bill of materials. This same tool can create and insert custom-manufactured components such as keepers, keys and bar lifters, including the necessary springs/screws, and associated tapped holes and openings. The Logopress3 help file contains a tutorial on creating these automated sets of components.
