Exair Partnering with University of Cincinnati Robotics Team

Exair, Cincinnati, OH, a manufacturer of compressed-air-operated products, has announced a partnership with the University of Cincinnati Combat Robotics (UCCR) team. By contributing time, product and financial backing, “Exair is proud to support and encourage the growth of a younger generation of engineers and continue increasing the visibility of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematic) learning,” say company officials.

 UCCR is a private club on the college's campus that designs, engineers and battles robotic creations using sound engineering principles married with creativity. “The fostering of this creativity and the furthering of engineering as a whole is perfectly aligned with the Exair’s values,” the firm says, adding that its funding helps cover costs related to travel, purchasing materials and fabrication.
