The Phillips Federal division of Phillips Corp. has expanded its distribution partnership with EOS North America, adding four U.S. states to an East Coast network that now includes 12 states. The newly added states, offering EOS additive manufacturing (AM) technology and services: Delaware, New Jersey, Maryland and eastern Pennsylvania. The expansion strengthens Phillips’ portfolio of technology products and services, which includes CNC machining centers, industrial automation systems, AM technology and services.
In 2016, EOS engaged Phillips Federal to represent the company in contracts with the U.S. Department of Energy, Department of Defense and National Laboratories through the General Services Administration. The partnership has since expanded.
“Phillips is our standout industry partner capable of running projects through its Additive Innovation Center inside of the U.S. Army’s Rock Island Center of Excellence in Illinois,” says Andrew Snow, senior vice president at EOS North America. “Additionally, the company was the very first Certified Training Partner of our Additive Minds applied-engineering team, allowing them to support customers in identifying use cases for 3D printing, and jump starting their production.”
