Bodycote Opens Thermal-Treatment Facility in Syracuse

Bodycote, a provider of heat treatments and other thermal-processing services, has opened a new facility in Syracuse, NY, following the company’s opening of a facility in Elgin, IL, in December 2020. The Syracuse facility encompasses 60,000 sq. ft.  and offers a variety of heat treatment processes including vacuum heat treating, atmospheric carburizing, low-pressure carburizing, carbonitriding, ferritic nitro carburizing, nitriding and aluminum heat treating. Bodycote already has begun to secure all major OEM approvals and Nadcap accreditation for the facility.
