Progressive-Die Builder/Metal Stamper Opts for Software-as-a Service ERP Solution
December 1, 2010Chirch Global Manufacturing, LLC, McHenry, IL, has implemented the new Epicor Manufacturing Express Edition on-demand version of the Epicor 9 enterprise-resource-planning (ERP) software. An ISO TS 16949-certified supplier to the automotive, consumer display, electrical, medical and other industries, Chirch Global opted for the software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution to “reduce its long-term IT costs, says company CEO Anthony Chirchirillo. “We can more accurately budget our IT costs on a year-to-year basis…and operationally, Epicor Express levels the playing field, as we now have an ERP system that is comparable to what best-in-class and much larger entities use.”
Epicor Express, from Epicor Software Corp., Irvine, CA, includes modules for customer relationship management, financial management, production, product and material management and business process management.
